#1. Make ice sun catchers with colored ice and enjoy them because we can't even remember the last time is was above freezing
#2 Visit the Como Park Conservatory in St. Paul because it is a tropical 80 degrees in there and admire all of the amazing lush plants and flowers
#3 Dance around, in as little clothes as possible
#4 Get a dog.......what the ???!!! We are thinking about adopting this little guy. I am still not so sure. We will see.

ReplyDeleteBrynn would definitely opt for choice number three! She regularly 'swims' and dances around the house in her swimsuit or dance leotards. I'm not sure how she handles our 64 degree basement in so little clothing!
Dogs are cute, cuddly, have absolute love for their families and are great friends for children. However, they require lots of work, too. And then you have to figure out what to do with him when you take trips to visit family. Are you going to transport him across the country with you, put him in a kennel or find someone to watch him for several weeks? Just something to think about. When we go back west we spend about $250-300 to board our cat for those trips.
The dog is really cute but please take off the sweater if you get him. And Anita where are you boarding your cat that costs so much? Can't you just leave a cat by itself? It is a pain figuring out what to do with them when you leave town. You can come visit us soon(and bring the dog) when it gets warm so you don't turn into bitter winter hating popcicle people.
ReplyDeleteHow on earth did you make those suncatchers?!! They might not last long here. The temperature is so up and down, hovering way below to just above freezing. As far as the dog: don't. do. it. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI saw those ice sun catchers in a magazine and really want to make them-but the 60* weather would melt them right away. should I rub it in that we spent the day at the park? hope it warms up soon!
