Waiting...waiting....waiting....

Yes, we are still waiting for this little stinker to arrive and join our family. She is now officially 10 days overdue. I have an induction scheduled for 13 days over because that is as long as they will let me just sit here and stew. So, to keep from going crazy I have been forcing the entire family on day long adventures. In the last little while we have visited the Children's museum, the model train museum, the Rapidan Dam festival, the pool numerous times, Minnehaha falls, and the Minnesota state fair. (That last one was a little risky as it was 1 1/2 hrs from home, a week over due, but I just couldn't stay home and not have a baby again. ) It has been a fun couple of weeks and in the long run I guess I will be glad we got to do so many fun things before our lives change forever.

Outside of the train museum (notice the self painted faces from the children museum)
The model train museum wasn't too big, but the kids thought it was pretty cool.

The happening Rapidan Dam 100th year celebration.

Minnehaha Falls
Super happy Macey girl

The farm exhibit at the Mn state fair.
I thought the fried cheese curds, fried Reese's peanut butter cups, cotton candy and tons of walking would put into labor for sure, but no luck.
Check out these huge pumpkins and can you spy who else thinks they are pretty cool?

And of course lots of hours are spent chasing Harvey around the back yard to wear him (or is it the kids) out at night.

We're Back!!

Man, we finally made it back to Mankato. We spent a couple of weeks in UT with friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Every day was packed but we had fun. I actually felt like I had never left the UT, and it took me a couple of days to get used to the MN again. I felt pretty good most of the time, but was getting anxious to get home and get everything ready for baby boo-boo. We haven't gotten much accomplished yet, we have been busy putting our basement back together after it flooded while we were gone.

Hiking with the cousins near Bear Lake
Everyone was making fun of Courtney's sweet outfit, but I thought it was pretty stylin' and will definitely be a trend soon.
Hiking with Nana

Beach time at Bear Lake
When we got home from Bear Lake, Avery wanted a pool party for her birthday. Avery was so happy to play with all of her cousins at once and loved the mermaid cake Courtney make for her.
We then spent some time in Snowbird. We did lots of hiking and playing.

Macey loved this weird bouncy thing. I am not sure what it was, but she loved flying through the air.
On top of the world (or at least the view from the tram).

Slip and Slide fun in Nana's backyard
We did lots of other fun stuff, but these are the only places where I remembered to take my camera. Thanks to everyone who entertained us for so long. I don't think I really saw my kids the whole time we were there. It was an adjustment to have to feed and clean up after my own kids when we came home.
And this is the overgrown garden we came home to. Everything went crazy and the people who watched our house had been eating tons of good stuff. We now have a least a zucchini, cucumber and tomato with every meal. Good eats.

We did have time to take a Stewart Family Photo before leaving. All the siblings back together. 14 grand kids plus two on the way.

Now on to our next adventure...thinking of a name for this baby!
