Macey's Birthday and Such

Our sweet, crazy Macel Rose turned 5 a couple of weeks ago. She really wanted a kite birthday and asked Courtney to make sure it was windy all day long. He is a good dad and so just for her it was. It was also a special celebration because Nana was here too! We were so happy she could come and stay with us for a while.

While Nana was here we visited the Como Zoo and Conservatory, the MOA (mall of America for you non Minnesotans), Mineopa falls, Hyland Park Reserve and went to lots of good places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had such a good time and it was nice the weather was sunny for us to explore Mankato.




For Macey's Kite birthday we played pin the tail on the kite, made our own paper kites and flew them outside, made mini pizza'a and ate a beautiful kite cake made by Courtney. She had a great day and it was pretty exciting to have all of her little friends here.
